Featured News: FundingPips removes the per-trade risk rule on 2 Step Standard Master accounts and cuts 100K challenge prices across three models.
FundingPips has updated its trading rules, this time by eliminating a restriction that many traders found limiting. The firm removes the 2%–3% max risk per trade idea rule on its 2 Step Standard Master accounts, effective for both new and existing account holders. As a result, traders no longer face a hard breach for exceeding a per-trade cap, and the rule disappears entirely from the account structure. Existing Master account holders benefit from this change automatically, without needing to purchase a new account.
The removal aligns with FundingPips‘ broader positioning, which the firm describes plainly: while other prop firms continue adding restrictions, FundingPips removes them. Specifically, the firm eliminates subjective rules and tightens its focus on objective, measurable trading conditions, giving traders a cleaner, more straightforward set of guidelines to operate within.
Alongside the rule change, FundingPips also reduces prices on its $100K accounts across three challenge models: the 2 Step Standard, 1 Step Flex, and 2 Step Flex. The 2 Step Flex starts from $32 for smaller sizes, and the 2 Step Standard starts from $33, with the $100K tier now carrying a lower entry cost than before. Traders can check the updated pricing directly on the FundingPips website by scrolling to the 100K account options on each model’s page.
Furthermore, the timing of these changes reflects a deliberate strategy. Rather than applying across-the-board discounts through temporary sale codes, FundingPips builds value by adjusting its permanent pricing structure and removing rules traders have consistently flagged as unnecessary.
The 2 Step Standard model supports flexible reward cycles, weekly at 60%, bi-weekly at 80%, monthly at 100%, or on-demand at 90%, and offers 1:100 Forex leverage with news trading allowed on Master accounts. Together with the rule removal, these updates strengthen the firm’s case as a trader-first platform.
