Featured News: Blue Guardian merges eligible funded accounts into one BGF Live account from September 28, adding bonuses, scaled contracts, and a cash buyout option.

Blue Guardian changes how traders enter its Live program starting September 28, 2026. Under the new structure, every eligible funded account a trader holds merges into one combined Live Account at the time of promotion, rather than remaining separate. The update applies to new account purchases made from September 28 onward.

The merger’s most immediate impact is on drawdown. Previously, five $50K accounts each carried a separate $2,000 live drawdown, leaving traders with five isolated buffers. Under the new model, those five accounts combine into a single Live Account with $10,000 of combined drawdown room. The combined drawdown caps at $15,000, applying only to accounts purchased from the implementation date.

Contract capacity also scales alongside the combined drawdown. Traders with the largest merges can access up to 10 mini contracts or 100 micro contracts, giving higher-volume traders meaningfully more market exposure within the Live environment.

Additionally, Blue Guardian introduces a Live Bonus system tied to profit milestones. Each time a trader hits 0.5x, 1x, or 1.5x their starting drawdown in profit, the firm deposits 25% of their starting drawdown directly into their Live account balance as real, tradeable capital. After five winning days with the profit account, traders can withdraw that bonus.

For traders who prefer not to trade live, the update also introduces a brand new Live Buyout option. At the point of transition to Live, traders can instead take a one-time cash payout worth 50% of their combined starting live drawdown and walk away. Five $50K accounts, for example, generate a $5,000 cash buyout. The option is available once per trader, only at the transition point, with a 28-day cooldown after activation.

Blue Guardian currently offers Reserve, Standard, Express, and Direct evaluation routes, with real CME execution, daily payouts, and no daily loss limit on its Live accounts.
