Featured News: Blue Guardian removes the Windfall Strategy Rule on Futures accounts effective immediately, following trader feedback.

Blue Guardian announces the removal of the Windfall Strategy Rule across its Futures accounts, ending a policy the firm introduced last month to discourage what it described as gambling-style trading behavior and encourage responsible risk management. Despite the intent behind the rule, Blue Guardian acknowledges that it failed to communicate the policy with the transparency and clarity its traders deserved, and acts swiftly in response.

In its official statement, the firm confirms that only a small number of traders have faced enforcement of the rule since its introduction. Nevertheless, Blue Guardian takes the position that even a single unclear rule creates an unacceptable level of uncertainty for traders operating on the platform. Consequently, the firm removes the rule entirely rather than attempting to revise or reword it.

The decision reflects Blue Guardian‘s broader approach to trader feedback, which the firm has consistently treated as a direct input into its rule-making process. The firm also updated its Futures drawdown rules on July 27, 2026, a move that applied to newly purchased accounts, demonstrating a pattern of iterative policy adjustments in response to both internal review and community input.

Blue Guardian Futures operates as a simulated futures trading program structured across four account models, Standard, Reserve, Express, and Direct, with individual account sizes ranging from $25,000 to $150,000 and a combined maximum allocation of $750,000 across up to five accounts. The program trades futures products listed on the CME, COMEX, NYMEX, and CBOT exchanges. All four models carry a permanent 90% profit split, with payouts processed within 24 business hours via Rise or crypto.

Going forward, Blue Guardian states it remains committed to making its rules clearer, fairer, and easier to understand, and to continuing improvements that reflect the needs of its growing global trader base, which currently serves over 85,000 customers across 160 countries.
