Featured News: Discover how Sahil Sayed, the FundedNext trader, mastered Forex and indices trading, achieving success with systematic strategies and detailed journaling.

At just 22 years old, Sahil, a rising star in the trading community, has been making waves with his disciplined approach to forex and indices trading. With over four years of experience in the Indian markets and two years in Forex, Sahil has developed a unique trading methodology leveraging liquidity concepts and ICT-based strategies. In a recent interview, Sahil opened up about his trading journey, the turning points in his career, and his experience with the proprietary trading firm FundedNext.

Sahil’s trading journey wasn’t always smooth. “Two years ago, I was absorbing everything I could find online, constantly shifting strategies,” he recalls. However, Sahil realized the importance of consistency and developing a definitive system.

“I use a tailored approach, blending liquidity concepts like ICT’s ‘silver bullet’ and ‘turtle soup’ with my unique setups. I focus on high-probability trades and ensure I stick to my plan.”

Sahil’s preferred markets include major forex pairs like EUR/USD and GBP/USD, alongside U.S. indices like the Dow, NASDAQ, and S&P 500. Trading primarily during the London and New York sessions, he targets liquidity zones and employs volume-based tools like VWAP to refine his entries.

A breakthrough in Sahil’s trading was his commitment to journaling. “I maintained a detailed journal during my evaluation phase, documenting every trade,” he explains. His journal included trade setups, risk levels, outcomes, and his psychological state during trades.

“Knowing I had to write down every trade kept me disciplined. It prevented impulsive decisions and helped me stick to my strategy,” Sahil said, showing his detailed logs and statistics.

The journal also helped him identify patterns in his performance, boosting his confidence to scale his trading. He transitioned from evaluation accounts to managing a $280,000 funded account with FundedNext, consistently securing profits.

Sahil attributes much of his success to the support he received from FundedNext. “It’s been a great experience. I started with a $200,000 account, and after consistent performance, I scaled up to $280,000,” he shared.

The firm’s prompt payouts stood out. “Once, I received my payout in just an hour! As a trader, this reliability is crucial—it keeps you confident and focused,” he remarked. Sahil has processed over 11 payouts, all under 24 hours.

When asked about potential improvements, Sahil suggested reducing spreads during high liquidity periods and expressed interest in the firm offering futures trading. “Trading futures would be a game-changer, especially for indices,” he noted.

Sahil emphasized the importance of developing a fixed system for those starting their trading journey. “Once you know your win rate and risk-reward, everything changes. You can manage your risk confidently and scale your trades without second-guessing.”

He also highlighted the value of having a clear roadmap. “I create detailed plans for scale-ups and payouts, which keeps me focused and reduces emotional decision-making.”

As Sahil continues his trading journey, his disciplined approach and innovative strategies will likely inspire many in the trading community. With his sights set on further scaling his account, the young trader from Mumbai is proving that success in trading comes with patience, planning, and persistence.
